What I did on my Holidays

Sounds like a primary school assignment. Not much to do with SEO either I suppose.

We took the campervan off to Wakestock, Europes largest wakeboarding festival. I’m not a big wakeboarding fan or anything, it just seemed a cool thing to do, and it was! Great music from Feeder (yay!), The Zutons and The Automatic to name but a few.

After the weekend in Abersoch we headed down to St. Ives for a few nights, cream teas and pasties all around, and then onto Newquay, staying at Porth beach. Visited Jamie Oliver’s restaurant ‘15′. Newquay is much quieter than I remember it, seemed a bit run down with quite a few places closed down and boarded up. Great beaches though.

Richard Ashcroft is cool as Funk

Yesterday I went to watch Richard Ashcroft play at the Manchester Cricket Ground… I was persuaded into it by my mates Hippy and Big Yak. There was a mass of confusion about the tickets and Anne ended up winning some more from lastminute.com (yes, my girlfriend reads spam), at one point I had four tickets to go in with. Anyway it was a bad day for the touts as tickets we going for as little as a fiver outside the ground!

I was suprised at the music he played, mostly old stuff from when he was with The Verve – I really love some of the old tracks like bittersweet symphony, lovers etc. so I really enjoyed it. Quite glad this morning that I went with Anne rather than the lads – It would probably have turned into a bit of a session with them lot.
