My space?

My stuff is freakin everywhere. Just as a reminder to myself:

  • Wooly has Andy Ruffel
  • Richard (Dick) McGuiness has my snowboard, boots etc.
  • Bob will soon be getting the camper
  • Jude has got a grip on Sue Kirk
  • mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

New domain resolutions :)

Well, not new domain (although I might take the .com.au), but new home/house/life…

  • Sort out a (good, original) theme for the blog. ‘Enhance’ the structure.
  • Revisit some neglected sites rather than spending on new projects.
  • Exploit to the maximum some of the advantages I have.

Offline resolutions;

  • Spend less than an average of 12hr/day driving the tube
  • Get some exercise (and lose the two stone I gained over the last two years)
  • Eat fresh! (thanks Subway)

When we find our place in Oz I will have these things in mind:

Ok so I am reduced to dialup because goddamn freaking metronet are so lame that they have a traffic cap of 2gb or some ghey sugar that i bounce off every month around the 2nd ‘cos i have backups to run and stuff… anyway here I am on dialup with accomodation to organise, people to speak to etc. etc.

Anyway, whats new?… had an enjoyable evening with SEOidiot on Friday… mmmm

Was doing some research into the paid blog industry before… it is wide open for anyone who has the time (not me ATM as you can guess). Maybe this is going to be one of those ‘if only I knew then what I know now’ things like we all say about the dotcom boom, housing boom, general stuff we should have all done.

Following the links out of the PayPerPost thread this scared the sh1te out of me… I followed the link expecting to find a professional outfit to help me with customer relations, but I think not! Especially scarey to think we will be in Thailand in two weeks with martial law and all.

Crikey (as Steve would have said), she’s getting close… our leaving day that is. Got a bit stressed out yesterday and decided that dragging a laptop halfway round the world isnt a great idea… especially as we will be visiting Bangkok and taking trips out from there – it isnt the most secure place in the world.

Blasted down to the Trafford Centre yesterday afternoon and picked up a Nokia N80 mobile phone and a 80gb ipod… between the functionality of the phone (wifi, MSN messenger etc) and the combined storage of 2x ipods and 2x 2.5″ hard disks in external cases (USB plug & play) and a bit of room on my server I should be able to take all my data and leave the lappy here.

Tried out mojopac…. it looks to be a superb piece of software. Will currently installing it on a 120gb 2.5″ disk.

Now I’m back to thinking I will take the lappy and to hell with it…. uhhh…
