Yesterday I went to watch Richard Ashcroft play at the Manchester Cricket Ground… I was persuaded into it by my mates Hippy and Big Yak. There was a mass of confusion about the tickets and Anne ended up winning some more from lastminute.com (yes, my girlfriend reads spam), at one point I had four tickets to go in with. Anyway it was a bad day for the touts as tickets we going for as little as a fiver outside the ground!
I was suprised at the music he played, mostly old stuff from when he was with The Verve – I really love some of the old tracks like bittersweet symphony, lovers etc. so I really enjoyed it. Quite glad this morning that I went with Anne rather than the lads – It would probably have turned into a bit of a session with them lot.

Big thanks to SEOidiot for the ‘loan’ of his theme! I’m even running his ads in the sidebars at the moment. When I get some free time (lol) I’m gonna sort out the header image and have a bit of a fudge around with it all… anyway for now, it beats kubrick!

Seeing as how myspace now has 2.5x the traffic of G! I figured it was about time I learned something about it. Trouble is I’m too old. It’s like teaching my old fella to program a video recorder (if I was younger I would have said DVD recorder, right?). Anyway, I registered (easy enough) and started clicking around. I wanted to find a URL to link to and went for my usual ‘pilkster’ ID… and it had GONE! In the words of young women all over myspace: OMG!! OMFG!!!!
Pilkster on myspace seems to be a 16 year old girl from vegas. Ouch. So I decided that ‘pilky’ would do (another name I use on the forums). Also gone.
So if you want to visit me on myspace youre going to have to check out pilkybear.

About Cruises uses the ‘LastRegrets’ theme which works without modification.
ZXDJ uses the Blix theme, although its not quite perfect.
Flipside Records uses the ‘Girl in Green’ theme, which requires <div class=”entry”> to be appended to the amazon/script/header.php file.

I persuaded my good friend GADOOD to blog. He loves winding people up over at DP forums… I’m sure that plenty of his friends and foes will be over to read and comment on his online antics. He’s already got a better look to the site than I have here on my blog, and he’s only on his first post. Sooner or later I will have to ditch the kubrick and go for something a bit more exciting.
