Spent the last few hours in The Anchor watching the World Cup. Gutted. Italy got an undeserved penalty in the 93rd minute, and of course, they scored.
Guess I am back to supporting England. Watched Mexico/Argentina on Saturday (Sue Kirk II and I had a night out in Penrith). I was obvously supporting Mexico seeing as I am now part Mexican… another dissapointment.

Sue Kirk II performed well over Kirkstone, although she isn’t quite as nimble as the old 911. Too heavy and front wheel drive doesnt help either. Still, she suprised a couple of bikers!
Had my Kayak out on Sunday on Ullswater. Great fun. Should do it more, gonna miss it when we are in AU.

Can you tell I’ve just had 5 pints watching the game?

Please welcome The Captain.
So far buying The Captain has only brought me a thirst for tequila, and the need to sleep around noon.
Hopefully when the The Captain finally arrives:
- My php coding skills will improve!
- I will be able to dance better than my Dad!
- Women will fall at my feet!
Want to see what you might look like with a ‘tache like mine? Mail me a picture and I will add you to the gallery!

This adsense-ready wordpress theme is based on Almost Spring, a clean and elegant theme from the wonderful Beccary.
When using this theme make sure that you have set maximum posts shown to three in dashboard > options > reading. This is a requirement as the theme will show an adunit in each post summary, and three is the magic (maximum) number allowable by Google. There is an adlink unit in the header too, this is additional to the three adunits.
Adsense has been added to
- header.php (a 728×15 linkunit)
- index.php (a 468×60 adunit which will show in each post summary)
- archive.php (same as index.php)
- page.php (a 336×280 adunit)
- single.php (a 160×600 adunit and a 336×280 adunit)
You will need to add your adsense id to these files.
Depending on the content of your site, and the purpose of the advertising, you may wish to remove some of the adsense units, or maybe even add some more (single.php only has two, and page.php only one).
