I have been playing with LiewCF’s 3 column Wordpress Theme on Childrens health blog.
Once concern is the compatability issue with IE mentioned in the comments on Liew’s blog. I will attempt to address this later.
This post is intended as a record of my modifications to this theme – most done for SEO purposes.
Adsense search added at top of sidebar.php
Wordpress search removed from sidebar.php
Author information removed from sidebar.php
160×90 link unit added in leftsidebar
120×600 adunit in rightsidebar
stylesheet modified for sidebar fonts similar to adsense
Title modification
Related posts (plugin)
Added author name to single.php
Further to-do’s:
301 redirect for www.
Note: I also removed fuzzy recent entries as this theme appears to have this functionality built in?
